roof noises

Roof rats prefer to nest in locations off of the ground and rarely dig burrows for living quarters if off-the-ground sites exist. Rat densities (numbers of rats in a given area) are determined primarily by the suitability of the habitat—the amount of available nutritional and palatable food and nearby protective cover (shelter or harborage). Roof rats are also food hoarders, stashing supplies of food such as seeds and nuts. Gnaw Marks Rat need to chew and gnaw on wood, plastic and other hard surfaces in order to keep their teeth chiseled down.
